What we collect

Contact details you submit through forms or email; application material for scholarships, awards and school programmes; and basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used in aggregate.

Why we hold it

To assess applications, deliver programmes and events, meet reporting obligations to donors and partners, and communicate with people who ask to hear from us. We never sell personal data, and we share it only with a programme partner directly involved in delivering the service you applied for.

How long we keep it

Application records are kept for the programme cycle and for as long as audit and donor reporting require. Mailing list details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your records, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Children

Where a programme involves pupils under 18, applications are submitted through their school, with consent from the school and the parent or guardian.

Section 4

Terms of use

This website is provided for information about TINFO Foundation and its programmes. Content may be updated or withdrawn at any time.

Applications and eligibility

Publication of a scholarship, award, computer lab or digital schools programme on this site is an invitation to apply, not an offer. Awards are made at the discretion of the Board of Trustees and its selection panels, and decisions are final.

Intellectual property

The TINFO Foundation name, seal and AfricaSDA mark, together with the text and images on this site, belong to the Foundation and may not be reproduced without written permission. Member schools may use the AfricaSDA mark under the terms of their membership.

External links

Links to partner and third-party sites are provided for convenience. The Foundation is not responsible for their content.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Texas, United States, where the Foundation is registered. A programme agreement with a school or partner may name the law of that school’s country instead; where it does, that agreement prevails for the programme it covers.
